Environmental Stress

I know that Chameleons should be stationed in an area with light traffic/noise.

Trogdor's HQ is in my office and he is in direct line of sight with my monitor (I can't position things so he won't be). So I notice me and my bright monitor was seeming to annoy him so I put up some cardboard so it would block the line of sight without losing ventilation. But now the little punk keeps moving to an area so he can see around the cardboard.

He seems to really want to get away from either the cardboard or the monitor. He keeps climbing up and down the furthest corner of his enclosure.

WTF should I do? I need to work in here and it is the most quiet in terms of traffic and noise in the house. Can I put blindfold on him?

Yeah I guess I could but I really don't want to decrease the amount of air flow in the enclosure.

How much should I be babying him? shouldn't he get used to at least some levels of traffic around his enclosure? Trust me it is really quiet in here.

I'm the only creature that comes into this room, i'm not in here spinning trance music or ice sculpting with a chainsaw, I'm just working on my computer.

How old is he. Id give it a few days and see what happens both of mine can see the tv all day 70"tv and they are a month shy of two. They have been that way for the full two years.

Why not just buy one those office divider wall things mate?

Yeah I can see buying some sort of mobile divider wall, but should I? I don't want to flamed for saying this and don't think I don't care about the stress level of my chameleon. But at what point do I say "he is just going to have to deal with this", because at what point would it be good for him to get used to a small amount of traffic? He has this office to himself all week long until I feed him in the morning and clean up after him at night.

Double check the cage enviroment and variables too! :)

What I dont quite understand is why you think the computer screens annoy him, if hes moving to the other corner so he can still see it???
Hes not very high there, maybe you could just set his cage higher?
