Thanks for sharing this! My little guy tested positive for these so I have been trying to read about them. It doesn't seem like its a common parasite.
 
In my 30+ years of keeping chameleons, I’ve come across them a couple of times. I dealt with a lot of wildcaught chameleons though.
 
It’s been a long long time since I had to clean those cages…so things have changed since then. I’d follow the methods people on here have had to use recently.
