Hey guys! Pm Kinyonga, but was hoping for some quick feedback.
Male Veiled in a 24x36 enclosure (Not open to suggestions it should be bigger right now) It's well populated with a mix of live plants and synthetic plants and plenty of real branches and faux branches has optimal basking and UVB lighting.
I added a hollowed out tree branch mounted midway to one of the walls in the enclosure, as it has a nice surface area for him to sit on, however! lol I found him inside it! happy as a clam tonight after he was done basking after his feed ( he generally picks a place to sleep when he's done basking after his evening feed) he seems to know when it's time for lights out .. we have a schedule (this chameleon isn't like most he was blind due to a pet store selling me a mercury vapour bulb for his basking and he was at the vet regularly and was syringe fed for a month, he's now hunting crickets .. drinking water from the misting system and doing very well, he's quite tame and eats from my hand and comes to me when I open his enclosure.
Anyone else had a Cham decide to sleep in a hollowed out tree branch?
