enclosure location

Hi everyone my name is Henry and i have a few questions before i cement my plans into place;

i have a rather small room with a porportionally HUGE desk, right now there are 2 possible places for the enclosure on my desk, right next to my saltwater reef tank and would recieve sunlight from the right side of the tank or i could put the encloseure jsut to the right of the window. I was wondering which location would be better? i am preparing to get a chameleon once i perfect the location as well as misting and heating situations. this will be my first chameleon and im extremely excited!

Consider the fact that the light from the sun passing through your window glass will play a huge effect on the ambient temperature inside the cage.
Also realize that your window glass will block all the beneficial UVB from the sun.

ill have a 5.0 UVB bulb to cover that, and i forgot to mention but my window faces north and thus receives not nearly as much light
