enclosure leaking

I have the screameleons kit and the bottom of the enclosure started leaking from in between the PVC bottom and frame. Is there a non toxic sealer out there that I can use?

I have the habba mister and the thing doesn't mist it just sprays like a sprinkler so even the small amount of water can gather in a certain area easily. I just witnessed a spray and seconds after it started dripping on the floor.

No I don't yet because I don't have a devised place for putting the little guy while I make the modifications. I was also trying to prolong the permanent modification of the enclosure.

Just put him/her in a house plant. He/she will stay in it. You do have to drain. There's no way around that. Sealing it is just a bandade. I have a metal stand and I put a shelf underneath the cage with a tuperware to catch the dripping water. It works great. If you sealed it you would instantly kill crickets and cause mold and disease in your cage.

The answer to your question: Non-toxic silicone sealer for aquariums.

My opinion: Let it drain anyways, you will need to let it drain to make sure your chameleon doesn't get sick from setting water, your bugs will drown, it's just not very good.

I do not suggest placing them in a house plant unless you are there to supervise it the WHOLE time.
There are so many ways for the chameleon to get out, they will even do the "drop and run" if you aren't careful.

As a temporary fix for drainage, I suggest running to walmart and getting a bin that will fit under your cage, put it up on some wood blocks, plastic blocks, something, and let it drain into there.

I smell a weekend project :) I've been wanting to create the drainage but trogdor is so agressive that I hate taking him out for the fear of over stressing him. But I guess it's got to happen
