Egg Laying

Around what ate roughly should you prepare a bucket for the female to lay eggs? Roughly when can I expect her to become gravid? I'm just looking for an estimate so I know when to expect so I can be properly prepared, first time with a female

IMHO you should put an opaque container of washed playsand in the cage of every female egglaying chameleon once she is sexually mature. The container should be big enough for her to fit into when its empty with a couple of inches to spare on all sides including below and above her.

As to when they will lay eggs...it depends on the species and to some extent the husbandry.

Is it around one year old that they reach sexual maturity?

Around 5 months old.
