I read a thread not too long ago where someone was asking about transparent pinkish looking eggs. I decided to snap a few pics of some of the eggs I have incubating to show a comparison.
These are K. tavetana eggs from a WC female. Notice they arent pearly white. The clutch that hatched for me this year looked even worse than these do when they where laid. The culprit is probably that they are WC and not getting the nutrients needed to produce very healthy eggs during the capture and importation. However the "moral of the story" is DONT GIVE UP!!! If they dont go flat and mold dont throw them out!!! These have been incubating for 2 months now and still look "good" compared to the clutch that hatched this year which did have some mold on them for a period of time.
