I have 4 children and they eat eggs like crazy... Haven't needed extra yet... lol I would go to a farmers market and I would bet you could get some there...

or any place that serves breakfast....everyone wants to be green now, so reusing egg crate is "green"....just hit up a local diner or school cafeteria and ask them to set the egg crate to the side...

I do what eliza said. However, I soon going to switch over to paper rolls. i think in the long run they going to be alot easier to use.

For crickets toilet paper rolls are better, for roaches egg cartons vertically is the way to go. You can buy "virgin" egg cartons from Roach sites, if you want unused egg crates.

I recently got some from Enasco. They are a teaching supply company. One package of the egg crates runs about $15 and there are 70 egg flats in that package.

why is it that some people claim you shouldn't recycle egg crates that were actually used for eggs with roaches?
