Edema

I was doing some reading on chameleons with edema. When this is formed from over supplementation is it from calcium, vit A, or D3? or combo of all?

Also, can chameleons topically be cured of edema? or is this something that will cause the chameleon problems for the remainder of its life?

Just curious, thanks in advance for any replies.

Im not a vet, but this is my understanding:
There is more than one issue that can have edema as a symptom. Over supplementation, under supplementation, inbalance of various vits, dehydration, ....
If the underlying cause is addressed, than ya usually this symptom can go away.
