Dusting multiple times a day?

Hello, I offer food to my 2 month old veiled twice a day.

I was wondering am I supposed to dust the crickets both times?

For example, on the days that I do calcium w/ d3, do I dust the crickets with calcium d3 at both feedings?

Thanks

yes, that is the way I would do it. If you feed 10 feeders in the morning and another 5 in the afternoon, then dust all of them that day with what every supplement you are using for that particular day.

Okay, but sometimes it is hard because some days she will not eat a lot maybe 4-6 crickets and I am worried she isn't getting enough supplements on days she hardly eats is it viable to dust more of calcium d3 the next day?

When I have young ones and feed more than once a day I only dust the first feeding of the day. I do gutload very well. Gut loading your feeders is VERY important.

If you gutload and give a good variety of insects and have proper lighting then you don't even need to dust every item. If you can breed crickets to dust and give supplements of waxworms, mealworms, small locusts, flies, moths, spiders. Make sure there are no pesticides on outdoor caught things. Butterfly season is coming up for me and my Chams are going to love it. No need to dust the occasional butterfly treat.

If they're not too thin and not too fat then let them eat as much as they want I reckon, and try not to worry to much about quantity if they are growing a bit.
