dripper with fish air pump?

Sorry I don't know the thread, but I believe it is what I did. I use 1/2 gal milk cartons, drill a hole sightly smaller that the outside of the tubing, push the tubing into the milk carton, tight so it won't leak, put a dripper valve form the fish store on the end, set it to drip once a second. Hope this helps you out. If you need more info let me know.

Don't know the thread, but the pump you want is the aqua lifter by toms I believe.. it will pump very slowly, with a lot of head pressure. They're often used in the aquarium hobby to dose chemicals slowly over the course of the day..

This sounds like something ive been thinking about trying. Basically the pump returns the "rained" water from it's reservoir back up to the tank/tub to be "rain" once more. Correct? This is an idea that Ive been playing around in my head with today. Found an old waterfall pump in my garage earlier. I think I will do some preliminary tests and see what I come up with. I will post and let ya know.

No need for fake plants. A Tom's Aqua Lifter is a little tiny $15 3.5gph diaphram pump. It can run dry, etc. It uses airline tubing. Run the tubing up to a manifold that splits off into several different lines.. each ending wherever you want the drip.. Use airline control valves to control the drip at each location. Add on a timer and you've got an automated dripper for less than 50 bucks in parts.
Only problem with it is its only rated for 30 inches of lift, so you may need to elevate your bucket some.. Not sure, haven't played with one in a while.
DO NOT collect the water back and pump it through again though. Chameleons need CLEAN water.

yeah if you are going to use reclaimed water you need to re purify it by means of like an RO, but with water being so cheap why bother?

i have it rigged on the light timer so the pump shuts off same time as light so now no dripps at night only day hours. i use the pump to force small amounts of water over a larger area. only down side i didnt brace the top so it just sags to the middle for a few of the droppers. still playing with the idea, and i didnt have a T connector on hand either so im just using the splitter, and doesnt work as well
