Dripper system

Hi, today I have removed my chams waterfall because I read all the bad comments on here about Hygene. I'm thinking of now getting a dripper system but just a few questions first :-
Do I need a dripper if I'm misting 2-3 times a day?
Chameleons need warm water rite, how would I keep the dripper warm if the water container is kept outside the enclosure?

Also a non dripper related question - my 4 month old veiled is eating roughly 6-8 small locust and about 4-6 small mealworms a day, is this enough?
Thanks :)

I mist about 6x a day and do not use a dripper in my veiled setups, If you set up a dripper and offer it every other day or so with good mistings at least 2x day a veiled should have no problem. Just watch the urate for signs of dehydration.
Also you could/should add a pothos plant as most veileds will much on the leaves esp, when in need of hydration. ( an adaption from living in arid regions )

I have a dripper system, but have never actually needed it for my veiled. I mist 5 times a day right now (still checking to see the humidity levels in the new enclosure) and have no accumulation of water at the bottom of the cage, and no issues with urate color. As for the temperature of the water, if you are spraying directly on your cham (if needed to aid shedding, etc.) I would use warmer water, but in general room temperature should be fine. Many are using automatic mist systems, and they are at room temp. I have artificial plants right now, and have humidity levels from 50% to 60% on average. I do offer some greens (kale, collard, mustard) on occasion to supplement his diet and offer some added hydration.

As for the food, it sounds like enough to me, but my guy isn't quite that old. He is about three months and is eating about 8 - 12 medium crickets per day. I basically will feed him until he doesn't want any more and try to do this twice a day. He will sometimes only eat 2 or 3 in a day if he had too many the night before.

Hope this helps! ;)
