dripper help

hi all i seem to be having problems getting my dripper right so my cham will use it ive tryed lots of ways but not realy much look, so would be good if i could get some help on best ways to set up, like how far to have dripper pipe to plants and so on thank you

I have a short hose coming from the dripper on top of the cage hanging between 8 or 12 cm (thats maybe 4 or 5 inches) into the cage. I have the end of the hose near to a favourite branch, so the chameleon can drink directly off the end of the hose as it dripps. I have it drip quite quickly, several drips a second, at first. The extra water falls into a collection pan at the bottom of the cage, which is emptied daily (twice daily usually).
