Is the purpose of the dripper to make sure your veil has water when you might not be there to spray the leaves?

AND

When you spray the leaves, Do you do a continuous spray for 3 minutes onto the leaves?

Thanks!, Jeff

yes basically, but the dripper can also help maintain the humidity some too. Some chameleons will drink from drippers and some won't. Mine does not drink from mistings at all. He runs usually when I mist! If your cham does not mind getting misted then you can spray him too, it wont hurt him. Yes, just spray continuosly for 3 minutes or so. Some chameleons take that long or even longer to start drinking. I have read on here where people have to spray for 5 mintes before their chameleons will start to drink. Some will drink right away. They are all different!!!

you are entirely welcome! oh one other thing, if you are going to hand mist, put hot water in the mister and it will spray out warm. your chameleon may find that more appealing than cold water. Just test the water first to make sure it is not hot when it is sprayed out.
