drinking issues

ive noticed that my chameleon never laps water from her leaves, she only shoots her tounge out to catch droplets. and often times she misses. I mist her cage 3-4 times a day for 3 minutes at a time and run a dripper for at least 6 hours during the day. ive noticed her urates getting a bit of yellow in them recently. ive tried eye droppers and syringes to give her water but she only shoots her tounge out and gets it stuck then goes away to sulk. i wish i could have her gently lap it so she wont hurt her tounge on anything. ive even put her in the shower but that only lead to disaster.

do any of you guys have chameleons with this problem? if so, what are some other methods i could use to encourage lapping other than shooting. ive had her for almost 8 months and if it makes any difference, i bought her at a petsmart as a baby where she had to shoot water from a still dish.

Is this dripper dripping through the top mesh? Perhaps connect some tubing that runs into the cage and ends near a favorite perch so it can drink the water directly with its mouth, instead of shooting. :)

it is going through the mesh but i have it drop on leaves. shes still zaps it from the mesh. ill try the tube idea though, thanks :)

My Guy Ernie was like this, I would have to hand mist him for 7-10 minutes to get him to drink. Luckily I have a mist system now my hands were getting tired :(

Try hand misting him for few minutes longer to see if that gets his urates nice and white

I used one of these:
