dried insects?

Hmm... I can't get my chameleon to eat a LIVE insect if it's not squirming :)

I imagine they probably won't be that interested in the dried insects. Dried insects probably have a very poor nutritional value, too. Assuming your chameleon will even eat them, it might be fine as a temporary measure but probably not a good staple.

Anyone had any experience with this?

This is a swedish site, but you get the deal : http://www.cyberzoo.se/terrarie-reptil/foder-reptiler/torkade-insekter/

Anyone had any success with feeding this to their chams?

I certainly hope not.
Dried insects are dry (your chameleon needs moisture!) and not gutloaded. Further, they don't move.

if they are intended for human consumption, they may be hygienic, otherwise they likely were not well cleaned - could result in fecal matter and such being included.

Okey, thanks! Thought so too.
