Drainage

I just wanted to know what the most common drainage system that is used for the standard aluminum screen cages. I am about to redo my cham room and I want to set up a better system.

Several holes drilled in the middle of the bottom, with a heavy plant set atop, raised slightly by 3 or four objects. Place a bucket below, or attach a funnel and hose.
