Drainage

So I have a reptibreeze cage 24x24x48 and this issue isn't brought up. How do I make a drainage system for my cage which has this white sheet on the bottom to fill in the empty bottom. drill holes in it and glue some tubing then have tubing run into tub. Does this sound good?

cut a hole in the bottom with a sink drain and with maybe a short pipe extended down and into a bucket

That works. Then put something heavy in the center like a rock so the floor dips down in the middle, causing the water to run that way.
