Drainage System Project

Hey guys,

So this past week I was trying to figure out what to do about my water leaking from my enclosure...

My cage is bare because Jasper has 2 parassites, and in order to get rid of them i have to disinfect his cage once a week. So i'm making it easier on the both of us to keep it minimal.

Onto the drainage system...

I picked up (4) 1" T joints, (4) 1" Elbow Joints, & 10Ft worth of 1" PVC pipe. I also bought a 30" x 32" x 2" Washer Floor Tray.

My problem was that the water would seep from the inside of the cage and drip onto the table so i bought the tray to prevent that. The PVC stand is to lift the cage up for the main drainage holes that i drilled in the bottom of the enclosure. I also bought Black Vinyl Wall Base that i plan on hot gluing around the bottom of the enclosure to keep water from splashing out of the enclosure. This started to get even worse after i bought the Mist King Rain Nozzle System, Hence the towels on the bottom to prevent water from splashing.

The washer tray has a hole you can cut out and attach a hose for easy drainage. I'll do that later when i have the time. I had 7 minutes to put the stand & tray under his cage before his lights cut out lol.

But overall it works exactly how i wanted it to work. Spent $40 bucks on everything, not too bad. Went with PVC because i didn't want to deal with ROT.
