I have a reptibreeze screen cage for my 5.5 month old panther, I recently purchased a drain base as the plastic base provided was just pooling water. I currently have the drain base set up to drain in to a planting tray, where the water now sits until I empty it (by lifting the whole cage, not ideal!). I'm happy that the water is now no longer sitting in his cage but I would like some hints/tips regarding a more permenant drainage system, especially for when he gets his big boy cage in a months time!
I've tried looking for low tables/storage units which would work but haven't found anything suitable, his cage is currently on top of a storage unit in my living room, and I only have a small apartment so I can't fit in a whole new cabinet, so it would ideally need to be something table-top.
I have emailed the company who I bought the drain base from to see if they can custom make something suitable, but in the meantime any hints/tips would be highly appreciated!
