Drainage help

I am getting a cham in 3 weeks that will be 2 months old and originally bought a 2x2x4 cage but am now going to just get a 16x16x30 for the time being. What I am trying to work out is the drainage issue. I have a dog and want to raise the cage off the ground atleast 18 inches so he won't be too tripped out on her. Im thinking of building a stand but don't know exactly how I should build it for drainage. But if there is a cheap stand that would work out can someone shoot me a link. Anyone help or pictures would be much appreciated.

So I was thinking of using 2x2s for the legs and top and a middle brace to hold the plant but put the middle brace a little lower so everything drains to the middle. What do the handymen/women think of this? Would I need screws or just nail it in?

These drain pans work great. I use them for my misting displays at shows.
