...or more particularly "boreal bluets."

Can I leave some in my cham's cage, while i go camping? I caught 15ish. can they go in there? will they bother lucy?

They will be consumed rapidly, go for it. I would put a few in to see if your Cham chomps them, and then keep feeding them off. Although a dragonfly can bite, the Cham will win!:D

I actually have the swiftness to catch them by hand, i feed them to Pogo & Google too.

I Just made a massive net (the net is a pillowcase) with a 4 1/2 foot handle. went to the docks and pranced around until i found a dragonfly swarm. caught 20 in 5 minutes.

Can I leave these in overnight?

What should dragonflies do ? Aren't those protected in your country ? Here it's illegal to catch them or their larvaes. Even if they weren't protected there are many other feeders which could be handled easier and which are slower

No, they are not protected.
There are companies that sell their nymphs.

Hahahaha! I love how you said pranced around, cause my wife and i were at a store recently and they had nets with a long bamboo handle,
and I've always regretted not having one when such feeders were in my vicinity, she said it's a buck. I was like no way?!
But i said yeah i can see myself merrily pirouetting to catch butterflies, i even showed her what it would look like right in the store.

btw i never feed butterflies, just making a jolly reference.

It was a joke....;) my neighbor caught me doing it the other day and asked me what the heck i was doing lol:p

Haha, scenes from the state hospital, patients with huge nets catching invisible butterflies.
It's all of us, we all do it, we all know it's silly, but we're not paying for insects for a couple of days.
You could also say you're an Entomologist!

I can honestly say you have graduated from the school of Dodolah's dragon fly catching course. Remember the circular motion.
