Has anyone ever had any problems with this plant and their chams? I notice it is on most "safe plant" lists, but wanted some input from people here just in case.
I have never used it but it does seem like the big leaves would be hard for a chameleon to get around on especially when wet and slick. I really like the Pothos it seems to hold the water for a long time and also does quite well inside. The Ficus and Schefflera also do great indoors. The Hibiscus is a favorite of the veileds but needs allot of light so your need to use hibiscus outside or have a couple to rotate from inside to outside for sun. Your plants will need to be washed and rinsed well and replanted before you use them. Use organic soil and buy large river rocks to cover the soil so your cham will not be able to eat the soil. Make sure the rocks are very large so the cham cannot eat the rocks. Veileds eat anything and you have to be really careful with what they can get into. I put screen and river rocks on top of the plants I'm using with the babies and they were still running their tons between the rocks to get at the dirt so I had to pile the rocks up extra high. A tad of organic soil want hurt them but if they eat to much they could become impacted.
