Does shedding effect their eating?

Picasso started to shed the other day and ever since he just turns his head when I offer food, crickets, super worms, it doesn't matter......I'm hoping it is because of the shed....is this normal behavior?

That is totally normal. My boys lose their appetite when they shed as well.

And mine don't lose their appetites! Sorry to be a downer here but mine was in full shed today and plucked up a hornworm as soon as I put it in the cage!

I've read on here that some do but none of mine ever have.
