I've got an 8 mos old panther, Amadaous, he is a Nosy Be, who is getting very restless in his cage and he has slowed down his eating. That i contribute a little to his age, but it's like he's in heat and looking for a female. I know Melleris males can do this and can get really bad, but do panthers or even veileds do this in spring? There are females in the same room, none that any can see each other. Just wondering. If not, then i will have to look for another reason for the change in behavior. OH SHI....., he might have been able to take a glimpse or two of my new female Nosy Be. She is usually covered, to help reduce stress of being w/c and purchased and...... but on occasions i do take the covers off to make sure the air gets circulated and i just looked and considering their eyesight, he MIGHT have gotten a couple of looks. Would that start his "gotta get out" behavior?
