Just hearing about iguanas falling out of trees in South Florida with cold front. Chams also live there so someone may need to pick up and care for these.
Doubt it, chameleons grip tightly to branches when they are cold. Parsons and other montanes see temps in the 30s at times and they are accustomed to hanging onto branches tightly when necessary.
I agree with James, I was scared my first Cham would freeze in 40 degree weather so I went to get him after work and he was already fast asleep. Well he didn’t budge, so I cut the branch he was on.
@jacksonchamnew ...you asked if chameleons fall,out of the tree when it gets cold....a long long long time ago there was talk of this happening to veiled chameleons in Yemen...I never heard of any proof of it but I also never heard that it was wrong.
