Diy enclosure outta wood

Would plywood be good for my walls pretty much the entire enclosure outta plywood is this ok if I seal it I don’t know if there is a current type of wood I should be using ?

It is going to be really heavy and you are going to need to seal the heck out of it with something like flex seal. Why not do PVC sheet board for the walls? Then at least you would only have to seal the frame.

Acrylic is expensive right now with covid. It is what they have used everywhere to make things covid "safe". If you go to that link it will show you the pvv foam sheets. These are what other chameleon cage makers use.
