DIY Chameleon Fountain (Cantina)

DIY Chameleon Fountain

Step 1: Get a 5 or so gallon jug and cut out a front window, leave a couple inches at the bottom for water. (Optional, cut out top for easy dripper tube installation)

Step 2: Get a small pump about 80GPH max and also get a tube that fits the pump outlet

Step 3: Make small holes in tubing, about 1mm wide an inch apart for the water.

Step 4: Make a shape you want the tube to be in and put a few holes in the jug to make zip tie/wire connectors to hold the tubing

Step 5: Make a few extra holes and with wire or zip ties put in a few fake plants

Step 6: Turn on pump and make adjustments as needed. Enjoy! I hope I helped.

(Optional: Put some egg crate at the bottom, if the chameleon gets down there for some reason it will have some grip and not fall over. Also please use a fine mesh cover on the pump inlet, no one wants to hear about how your chameleon got the name stubby)

Here it is, I used an old aquarium pump from a HOB filter

I am going to make a new version that does not require a small area but has a pump with a 4 foot lift or so and has a water compartment and drips back into the container
