Has anyone tried these? I have to use a glass enclosure, especially in winter, as my apartment can be extremely drafty. (I will have a large screen enclosure also on the patio for nice summer days, and plan on letting him free roam some plants inside when he gets a little bigger) I haven't actually purchased all my supplies or chameleon yet, but I'm concerned about finding the right wattage basking bulb so that he's not too hot or cold.
The description says, "DIMMABLE REPTA-CLAMP LAMP 5.5' Fluker's Clamp Lamp with Dimmable Switch is ideal for adjusting the heat and light for your pet. The lamp comes equipt with ceramic sockets that are rated for incandescent bulbs (75 watt maximum)"
any input on their reliability or effectiveness would be great! =)
