my first chameleon was a female dilepis (flapneck) and i was wondering if anyone here is keeping them. i havent seen any images of these guys here yet. why arent flapnecked chams getting any love? :p i would love to keep more flapnecks in the future but i havent seen a website thats been selling them.

heres a pic of Korona, she was a sweetheart :)

Good for you! I haven't personally kept any but I applaud your enthusiasm and I hope this helps...LLL Reptile sells some and here is the link. The Dilepis are towards the bottom of the page.

oooh thanks for the link :) they have a wide variety of chams, do you know how good/reputable they are by any chance? im from the east coast so the cham during the shipping length is what concerns me :p

Hi whitespyder,

LLLreptile is one of the only petshops I would buy any reptile from as they know their stuff and do a fantastic job keeping all of their pets.
alot of their chameleons are leftovers from breeders that needed to be sold off to make room for future stock...so most are ultra high quality, and a bargin.

as for shipping from Cali, don't fear.
chams get sent all over in overnight shipping and do quite well.
my first chameleon Splat came from Cali and my new female is on her way from the west coast right now...ariving in just a few hours.

There are some keepers of Flaps here. :) They are very wonderful and don't get the attention they deserve.
There are some posts within the search that will bring you up posts regarding them. https://www.chameleonforums.com/other-addition-today-flap-25539/
