So I know their food choices, crickets, hornworms, roaches, silkies etc. but my question is can i got without feeding my cham, crickets, and just stick to say properly supplemented silk worms and horn worms etc.? The reason i ask is because crickets are a pain in the ass all the time any inpiut would be awesome

Some say you can use silworms as a staple. I wouldn't but if you do, give superworms so your cham can have some chitin in their diet.

that is only a small list of everything chameleons can eat. but if you use silkworms, which are excellent feeders I would suggest using roaches, or superworms to add some chitin in the diet, hornworms should be used as a frequent treat, not a staple.

Of course you can but like everyone is saying mix it up some. If you dont like crickets maybe get some every once and a while and only buy a couple and then gutload them and feed them right away. Id go with dubia or some superworms.

Silkworms are like soup, and you wouldn't want to eat soup all the time. Add dubia and other hard shelled insects to your feeding list. Feed supers only about twice a month as a treat.

You can usually use supers one a week safely, though your Cham may only want toneat supers if you feed them too often. My veiled loves dubia, my female panther likes her crickets and silkies the best.
