Deep Breaths

So my five month veiled Pascal has been taking weird breaths ? I have been sick with a sinus infection and my fiance was the only one handling him for a bit (of course he didn't notice), but the past few days I have been better and having my baby out. He lowered his chin a few times and let's out a deep breath.. At first I thought it was a low tone hiss, but its like he is taking big breathes ? Any ideas ? His saliva looks fine and his overall apperance seems to be good.

This could be a sign of a few things. First, make sure to keep an eye on him for a few days to make sure it is not the early signs of respiratory infection. It could also be the first signs of an upcoming shed. My veiled will sometimes take deep breaths to stretch out some skin and will start shedding soon after. How is the humidity in the enclosure?

Keep an eye on it for the next few days. If he starts making popping hissing weird bubbly noises or just noises in general when he breathes, it could be a sign of URI

He shed last Monday on the 25th. But he has been pretty dark and low appetite lately..unless a horn worm or something real juicy looking is given. His humidy is a steady 70. I know he's young and shedding is more frequent at this age .

I've been a stressful mess since losing Rex so I hope and pray to god Pascal is just being weird or getting ready to shed
