Day blue heat bulb?

I just saw these at the local pet store. They say they enhance your animals color. My guy is gray all the time, would this help? Anybody have any thoughts?

The only thing those enhance is the pets stores profit. I would just stick to incandescent house bulbs. Phillips makes a few that are more on the blue spectrum that will provide less yellow in the light if that is what you are looking for.

Is he staying gray? Has he shed recently? Can you take a picture? He is still a bit young to be showing full color but I notice some brothers coloring up nicely.
