Dark after shedding

So my 5 month old veiled cham has been a bright green since I got her (about 5 weeks ago) then, the day after she last shed she is only really showing her dark basking/cold colours. Is this normal, if so how long does this phase usually last?
Her basking spot gets to about 86-94 degrees.
Thanks.

She’s also been a lot more active since her shed too.

Your temps are way to hot for a veiled female. Juveniles are kept no hotter then 85. And females are kept cooler at 79-80 at basking to control clutch size along with a reduced feeding by the time they hit 10 months old.

Ok I’ve just raised the Light fixture a few inches, so it’s now about 83 degrees. Do you have any possible explain action to her sudden change in colour?

So my female veiled did the same thing and I came to find out the lights were to close as well as the cage needed more ventilation in general. I’m guessing you probably have the right cage a lighting set up. Does she brighten up when taken outside? Also eating habits and poop can tell a lot. (Supposedly when they are dark they are trying to obtain more heat.)

Well typically they will stay brighter when they are too warm... they go darker when absorbing heat. Dark does not always mean that they are cold though. Maybe it is just more striking because you are used to her being so bright green.
