I make cages for Chams. I use pine for the frame. Removable flooring for easy cleaning.

Check your local home depot for a small kiosk of dowels in the wood section. They have 3/4" sqauare inche oak for like $2 for a 4 foot pieces. I make all my cages from it.

Yea, but thats far more then what I'm paying for the pine, and I'm trying to offer a very economical cage right now. Even with the material at a low cost...labor is very high since I dont cut corners with the design and fit/finish.
