Hey everyone!
Our 6 month old panther Zephyr has been acting pretty crazy lately as he is entering sexuality, and this morning was just another example. We walked by his room today and noticed that he was gnawing on a small piece of cardboard that we use to make sure that the crickets don't escape from the crack above the door. (just a small rolled up piece)
There was bite marks all over it, even though he had crickets and silkies ( he refuses to eat his silkies) in his cage! My boyfriend pulled it out of his mouth and he just looked up at us innocently. haha.
In the past, we have had to remove all of his natural sticks because of this gnawing issue, and have recently seen him attack the ficus plant we put him on while we clean his cage. We are thinking that maybe we could put some plant/repashy mix (We have two crested geckos) in his cage for him to explore. Any advice?? We know that this diet is more common for veilds, but we thought that we might see about indulging his new favourite thing to do.
Thanks everyone
