Cup feeding

I still don't get the cup feeding technique. Any way I sit the cup the crickets can jump out..and my chameleon is too small to climb in and out of a cup. I honestly don't want a bunch of crickets jumping around in her cage because then I wouldn't know if she's eating or not. But she really needs to start eating more..and people have told me to cup feed. I haven't found a thread explaining how to do this anywhere. It's just frustrating.

Yeah I usually take a plastic gallon milk jug. I use the handle to hang the jug from the side of the cage or from a branch. U cut the other side to make a nice large opening. then youve got yourself a chameleon buffet table. I also cut out the bottom and I hot glue some screen on there. That way if it gets some spray from my mister in there it doesnt drown the crix or whatever i feed him.

I use a frosting container. Drilled holes (small) in the bottom, cut away a portion of the top lip about an inch or so down and attached it with wire to the cage just below his fav spot to hang out. He figured it out almost immediately.

Use a deeper cup (the chameleon doesnt need to climb in, it can shoot its tongue quite a long ways). or, Break the hind jumping legs off the crickets (just pinch gently, with a little pressure they pop off)

I actually just bought a worm dish for ferg today and for giggles i put his crickets in there and for some reason they just hung out in there i was pretty sure they would jump out since its only and inch or so deep but they stayed at least for the twenty minutes i was home before i went to work not sure if ferg found them or not i'll have to let you know when i get home

Try hand feeding?

I used to hand feed when I had roaches, I'll rip off their legs and try that with crickets. I honestly liked hand feeding better than anything.

So Ferguson loves his little feeder cup today when I fed him before work I put the crickets in and he came running faster than I've ever seen him move it was super awesome just thought I would update you on the worm cup thing I guess it dose work to cup feed
