Cuban Knight Anoles?

So I have realized there are at least two people who keep the Cuban Knight Anoles on here? I know @jannb is one and I think @elfbane is another... I have no desire to get one. But I love learning about species of reptiles I don't know a lot about. I always viewed anoles as a species that is very unhandlable and antisocial? Are the cubans still like this? I am confused how you could safely let them free range as I know these two people do, without losing them?

I've had Dulce over 6 years and she's very friendly and has free ranges since she was about 8 months old. She rarely gets off her free range any more but use to when she was younger. She had several places she liked to go. One was the kitchen window and the other was the top of the frig. I keep her just about the same as the chameleons except she need higher humidity. I keep a humidifier on her when she's inside but here in the Keys it's plenty humid when she's on the front porch.

If you are interested you can see pictures of her here.

I am almost wondering (since every sight I have checked with car requirements and such) since the sites say they are usually wild caught and are very hard to acclimate that that's because people try to put them in cages that are poor for them. Like not enough space. It seems with them they either do better with a 24/7 free range, or regular free range time. It's either that or if you do a cage you need to do something that is equal to the size of my 110 gallon which is I think 4 feet tall, 5 and a half feet long, and 2 and 1/2 feet deep? Though it could be larger because I haven't measure it in a while. I want to say it's more like 6 feet long.
