to breed crickets i need 2 containers or 3?
i have in mind 1 container for where females lay eggs and after that incubate and 1 for adults? is that ok?

how should i move the adults from one container to another?one by one?

at what age should i move the baby crickets to the adult container?
how often do they lay eggs?

damn so many question i wanna do it right

i use 3 containers.
1 with adults in it
1 in with the adults, with dirt covered in screen
and 1 to put the 1 with the dirt into to incubate.

what i did was took a smaller tupperware and put about 2inch of dirt in and covered that with screen.( keeps adults from eating the eggs ) i leave it with the adults for about a week to 10 days. ( as long as i see females laying ) i then remove that container and place it in a bit bigger of a rubbermaid (hatching bin). i place the dirt conatainer ontop of a deli cup in the hatching bin, then when the baby crickets hatch out they jump/fall down into the main bin and cant get back into the dirt.
after i stop seeing new crickets hatch out i reamove the dirt conatiner and delicup, leaving all the babies in the new bin and start again.
hope that makes sence

thanks a lot ! you answered exactly what i needed to know !
one more quick question after they hatched you throw out the dirt where the eggs were?and how long do you keep the babies in there ?

ah sorry i didnt read proper!
the only question is how long do you keep the babies till you put them with adults?

you wont ever really put them in with aduts unless you dont worry about what size cricket you are feeding off. i feed alot of chams of all diferent sizes so i keep them in the bin they hatched into ( not the dirt ) and feed from their.
if they make it to a large size ( without being fed off) that is close to the others you can dump them into the same bin.

thank you for your help :D !damn i hope i can do it from the 1st time ! ill keep you updated how i can manage to breed them
