Crickets hiding

I just got a baby veiled last week. I saw him eat several crickets at first, but I've noticed when I put them in, they crawl into these tiny crevices where the edges of the sides, top and bottom meet...right in the corner. I tried blocking them at the top, and just now i noticed there are some at the bottom of his enclosure too. I'm scared he's not eating. I suppose when he gets bigger, the crickets will be bigger too, and they won't be able to go in there. I buy the smallest ones because he is only 3 mos. old. Thinking I should try cup feeding? Or can he eat medium crickets? Please let me know.

Also, what is the best source for crickets on line? This running to Petco/PetSmart is getting old...

I am having the exact same problem.... I have to go in there at least 3 times a day and get the crickets out in the open. I am hoping someone has figured out something that I have yet to figure out....

put them in a cup. A cup that is not totally see through so they don't keep shooting their tongue on the outside of the cup.. if you search threads there are members who have made milk jugs and things like that into cricket feeder. ghanns cricket farms is one place to order online. Also Lazy H bait which is in Florida. I think Ghanns is in Georgia.

My Zaphod is about three months old and is eating small/medium crickets with no problem! I started cup feeding and this is a great way to regulate how much your cham is eating. One thing I do is put a little kale or lettuce out in the open for the crickets to munch on. That way if some do jump out, they have something to get their attention so they do not hide as much.
