Well... I usually buy a 1k crickets for the month. But we are a little tight on money for the June 15th paycheck. So I was going to skip the ordering and buy some from our local pet store. They only have little little tiny ones or full grown adults. So I was wondering if Angel and Ringo were old enough to eat the adults. Angel is about 6months old, Ringo is 5months. If they are old enough how many adults should I feed off? TIA:)

Do you have photos of them against something so we can gauge their size? They could be small or large for their age, so seeing them will help us tell you.

Some of them have wings some don't. I would have to wait till Monday to get a good pics.

Are you talking about getting pics of the crickets because when Olimpia said:

it sounded as tho that was about the size of your Chameleons

Yes, we need to see how big they are in order to help this person determine if they are capable of handling large crickets or not. I've seen some enormous 6 month olds who could certainly handle them, and others that were still very small who perhaps couldn't.

If you can get pics tomorrow then great :) If not, remember that the crickets shouldn't be wider than the space between their eyes and longer than their head for a young chameleon. With that, perhaps you can use your better judgement.

Thats Ringo in my avator. Hes still about the same size as he was when it was taken. May 10th I believe. Angel is a little bit bigger. He crickets I have now from the May 10th order are just starting to get wings and they were 3 wks when I got them. I dont handle Ringo much at all and Angels shedding so I didnt get a recent pic of them.
