Crickets Falling on Back and Twitching

I've kept these 1000 crickets alive for a little over 3 weeks and suddenly I noticed like 10 or more of them on their backs running and then they die. Whats up with that? Is it going to happen to all of them?

I clean cage once a week and supply food and water at all times.

show some pics of your set up, what temps?, humidity? gutload? ventilation?, ect ect...

here is my set up for breeding, but keep in mind you can do the same with just the big one for keeping crix gutloaded and healthy...:D:D

I'll try to get a picture up later but my set up is a plastic cage 7inch width 10inch length 10inch height, temps are around 70-80 depending on if I have the heat pad on and I gutload with cricket crack collard greens, sweet potato and oranges

I got them off a site thats not sponsored by chameleonforums.com (was before I joined) Do you think they knew the crickets had that or can it just happen randomly? If they all die its not really that big of a deal to me, most of them are too small for my cham now so I got bigger ones at the petstore, I'm trying to grow the bulk order I had but I might just let them go if there going to die anyway.

so has this happened to anyone else? Its really annoying I feed them fresh food and keep their cage clean and it still happens

Its possible your cricket keeper is simply too small for that many crickets and they are becoming over crowded.
I keep a 1000 crickets in a ten gallon fish tank, but I am needing to upgrade into a big tub.
