Cricket help?

I'm having trouble keeping my crickets alive. I know of ways to keep them alive that I haven't attempted since I would rather not have 100+ crickets hopping around my house (i'm talking about removing the dead ones). I have been purchasing crickets for a long time but never in bulk like this until recently so the lifespan had never been an issue. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have 2 cricket keepers one is the large size and the other is a small
I feed them with fulkers cricket food with calcium and they have little water bowls.

Step 1: get a large plastic tote cut out decently sized squares in the sides and top, hot glue aluminum screen into those spots

Step 2: buy banded crickets.

Step 3: throw out that flukers junk and feed with organic vegetables and small amounts of fruit. Do not add calcium. Add a dry gutload like cricket crack, but buffet, or one that members here sell.

Step 4: enjoy not having any dead crickets along with a healthier chameleon.

:)

Thank you so much! I am just confused what is wrong with the Flukers? I used to just give them a carrot and they were good but I figured that the Flukers would be better since it said it was made for crickets. Just curious as to why you wouldn't recommend it.

The problem with Fluker's is for your chameleon, not the crickets. Fluker's uses things like corn and grains as the main ingredients, which should never be included in a chameleon's diet. This commercially available crap is made to keep bugs alive, not full of the nutrients your cham needs to survive. Since what goes into the crickets goes into your chameleon, you should only be feeding the crickets produce that is acceptable for your chameleon's ingestion.
