I've got some crape myrtle's that are very overgrown so I was thinking of cutting them back and using the branches in my new enclosure. The plant in not toxic so I don't see any issues with it.
Do you guys have any tricks to getting them to hold the shape you want? I want some of them to be all bendy, not just straight branches. I was thinking of using some string to make it hold a curve or S bend then baking it in the oven to dry it out and see if it holds the shape.
You guys ever done anything like that?
