My little boy shed today and boy is he cranky! He hissed and snapped at me when I fed him today, is this normal behavior?

My adult Jackson's is exactly that way when she sheds. I got a baby veiled a couple days ago - she shed immediately and is grouchy as well. Not to mention acting like "a fly on a string." LOL My Jackson's will stop eating for a 2-3 day period sometimes when she sheds, and I'm always worried sick about it. So far she gets through it and then resumes eating. I've got cranky females running amok!

I have one real cranky and another on the way...

I noticed that my 6.5 month old is starting to open his mouth at me but after a few moments he calms down. he is hot and cold, when I wake up and feed him he runs to his perch stick and takes what I give him but I noticed in the last two days he opened his mouth at me so I am guessing he is approaching his teenage years and from what I gather Chams can get cranky for several months. My 10 month old hates me so I leave him alone I am waiting for him to grow out of his rebellious years. I got my 10 month old like three weeks ago and he was cranky then so I have no history on whether or not he was ever friendly I hope he grows out of it soon.
