well i know female veiled can take 20-30 days to lay after mating and mine mated march 3rd and im just countin down the days!:D i think shell have at most 15 eggs she isnt that big and i gently felt her and felt a few eggs so YYYAAAYYYY small clutch:p i couldnt find any good cheap incubators so i made my own i have a styrofoam tub with a metal pan of vermiculite in it and the metal pan fits snug on the inside of the tube and i have a heat mat in there to keep it warm during the day so far it gets about 75-77:D so thats pretty good and at night about 73-74 ill post pics of the incubator upon request:) and can you believe that i went to the reptile where ive been going and the guys is an expert reptile guy and then when i went to buy the vermiculite he says that some people incubate there veiled eggs at 80-84 degrees for faster hatching:confused:i was thinking this guys is on cham crack or something:eek::pi herd that above 78 and youre cooking the eggs:( but i aint gunna listen to him about that

i have heard of higher temps like that but smaller babies yolk still left faster hatch but dangerous not recommended at all its a greed thing not for anyone who cares about there chams imo i incubate at 74-78 max
