My young newly imported quad quad is gavid. The only breeding I witnessed was May 23rd and 24th.
I also saw some breeding behavior--maybe there was a breeding--on May 12. Here's a link to the picture:

For the last couple of days she has been quite restless, climbing the screen, climbing around the bottom and I don't think she is eating as well as she has in the past. She's not big. I can see/feel a few eggs.
The screen climbing is new. She's always been happy to sit on her favorite branch and eat and eat and eat. She's driving me crazy climbing up and down the front screen--she's never done that before. Three sides are solid (Dragonstrand cage).
Is it possible she is ready to lay so soon? She was housed with the male. They grew up together.
I put in a laying bin this afternoon.
I didn't expect eggs for a month. I could be wrong with the date of the first breeding--I might never have seen it.
