since this morning she is cruising the top screen of the cage. She never usually goes up there. But today she is not coming off of it. I let her out she was out and roaming the living room for about 40 mins. when I put her back in at the bottom of the cage she climbed to the top and is still there on the screen

Sometimes they just like to go walking on the ceiling. One of mine does it daily. The other doesn't do it at all. Just make sure there's lots to grab hold of and crawl on up there because obviously, she wants to be up in the higher realms.

I'm firmly convinced they spend much of their time plotting climbing stunts that will freak us out.

On further investigation.....

You are providing vit A drops way too often. This should be done once a month. VitA can disrupt the absorption of VitD3...as both compete for absorption in the gut.
This causes vitD3 to not do its job, which is help in calcium absorption....which means too much vitA can be a cause of MBD/calcium deficiency.

This means she is desperate for D3, which would explain why she is incessantly drawn to the new UVB light.

Do the VitA drops on ONE FEEDER ONCE A MONTH.

40 watt basking bulb is simply not enough. I don't know the specifics on the temperature in the room you keep her in, or the airflow in the cage, or how much heat the cage maintains from the 40watt. I usually use 60 or 75 watts.

I find they are much happier with the 75 watts. I use 60watts for the ones that are top-screen-climbers and risk being burned. Everyone else gets 75.

It should be 70-75 at the bottom, 90-95 at the top basking spot....with the option to bask at a 95F level and an 85-90F level. I have lasered my guys and sometimes they are 98F for a short period if they get close.
