Colours - Adult Female or Receptive?

I've taken a picture of Lily today in a not so elegant pose on her stick!:D I was wondering if her colouring is just that of an adult female, or if she's showing receptive colouring? The brightness of her blues varies from day to day, but her orange spots are always showing.

My girl Green bean always has blue in her however when she is receptive her orange is yellow. When she has orange she will hiss and gape at a male; but if it is yellow she do the head bob at them. LOL:D:rolleyes::D:rolleyes:

I was just curious. Lily is 17 months old and laid her first infertile clutch in December 08. I hadn't intended to breed her - I havent got room for all the babies! She always has the blues and golds on her, but sometimes she's restless too and wants to be out and roaming around all the time!!

Looks like she is well on her way to making another huge clutch that will be quite demanding on her body. How much do you feed her?

She's not fat - it's just the way she was sitting on her stick! She just sat hunched up with all her feet together like a little gymnast and I thought it was funny and took a pic!! She hardly eats anything at all. Nothing for the last couple of days, and two locusts the day before that. She's more interested in climbing up my arm when I offer her food.

She wasn't eating much at all before she laid her first monster clutch, which was partly why I was so shocked that she laid 103! (Actually it was 104 as I found another when I emptied her laying tub to refill it the other day). I am currently dusting everything she eats with calcium powder (when I can get her to eat something).

Over the last week she has eaten 2 locusts and 1 super. She ignores most food and climbs up my arm instead. I offer her locusts, crickets, supers and the occasional waxworm or newly shed mealworm. She is still drinking. It seems to me that she's on a 'manhunt'. She was like this last year about 6 weeks before she laid.

She looks like she is ready to do the dirty. Witchy just started becoming receptive the last week :( no boyfriends though
