Colour change for Pixie!

So, you may have read in my other thread that Pixie has started reading again which is brilliant! However, this has been accompanied by a change of colour. She is now more brown and her white blotches on her sides are now orange and peach, very pretty! I am now pretty sure that she is working on her first clutch. The guy I got her from things she may have been ovulating for the past couple of weeks. That makes sense!

Tiff i would not even be surprised if you could teach a cham to read. You really are the cham whisper. Pixie is lovely. I need help with a name for my parsonii - any ideas?

Is her clutch fertile? I know you were kind of on the fence on breeding her? I can't remember how old she is now and whether she would be safe to breed at her current age (especially since pictures are not good for size reference XD) either way she is a gorgeous girl, treat her right whether you breed her or not. She is sweet and gorgeous, you don't always get the combo. ^^ Such a special lady <3

Thank you so much! Have you seen her latest photos I posted today? If and when she lays (she's my first Panther so I'm not good with what her colours mean) they will be infertile. She's very colourful for a female. About a month ago she decided that coming out of her viv is a nice thing to do. She's got a very sweet nature too, so, once again, I got lucky!

Yeah I saw her outside pic if that's what you mean? I am not great with panther colors either... They are harder to tell than most other species in my opinion. Unless you have a male near a gravid female. Otherwise it's kind of waiting and hoping she shows the plumpness of a gravid female. But as we all know they can also look completely normal and be really gravid. Just be ready for other signs in case. I am crossing my fingers for you two for an easy lay if it is <3 so much love for her little face ^^

Yes, her outside photos. Her first time in sunshine. I have let all chams climb the tree within reason and they were all pretty calm. Pixie, however, wouldn't keep still! She already has a laying tub in her viv for when she needs it.

Pixie having eggs already? I could guess they were infertile, can't believe you would ever want a clutch of babies.

I have a very small clutch, only 3 babies, but that was 3 more than I expected to hatch. These are my last babies! It will be hard to let them go, but no more babies for me.
